Shania Twain - Man! I Feel Like A Woman, & most men would like to feel this Canadian songstress, who married the husband of her best friend, after Shania own husband had had an affair with her! She wasn't around for long but she had a unique style, & was easy on the eye.

From Marks Headstone we know his Father was called Moses GINSBERG, but unfortunately thats all we know of Moses. You might notice that his headstone reads "missed by his children & grandchildren" yet his wife didn't die until 1902, nearly 6 years after Marks Died. I'm sure this wasn't an oversight, so why is she missed off?
As I've said previously, we’ve not been able to find the whereabouts where exactly our GINSBERG Family came from in RUSSIA, despite employing a number of professional Genealogists. We are reasonably confident they came from the North East of what today is POLAND, or the South West of what is today LITHUANIA. This is in the area of LOMZA or SUWALKI or even more likely SEJNY in what is today North East POLAND. The reason for saying this, is first of all most Jews in LEEDS, come from this relatively small area & are known as LITVAKS, (Yiddish for LITHUANIANS).

Marks & his wife Mary (nee FINE) lived at 33 Fernie Street, Cheetham, MANCHESTER, UK (just across the main road from where the Manchester Arena is today) as did Bernard & all his siblings at the time of his Marriage to Sarah LEVY/ZAGOFSKY on 17/DEC/1884.

Mary FINE Married Marks GINSBERG sometime before 1860 in RUSSIA. Lived at 33 Fernie Street, Cheetham, MANCHESTER, certainly from around 1880, until she Died in 1902.

Harris & Maria lived at 25 Fernie Street, close to his Son Marks & his Family in 1881, where it showed his profession as “Rebbe”, Hebrew Teacher.
The Word “Rebbe” is Yiddish, whereas the word “Rabbi” is Hebrew. Essentially, they mean the same thing ie “spiritual leader or "teacher”, however in Hasidic Judaism the word “Rebbe” can also mean “dynastic leader of a Hasidic sect, ie LUBAVITCH Rebbe Menachem Mendel SCHNEERSON. I think in the case of Harris FINE it probably meant he was a very learned man; see following

They & their Family all Emigrated to SOUTH AFRICA. They lived at 15 Van Der Merve Street, Hillbrow, JOHANNESURG until Edwards Death.
It’s possible the original Family name was FINOVSKIE
Village People performing YMCA, The group was originally formed by French producers Jacques Morali, Henri Belolo and lead singer Victor Willis. The Village in the name refers to Greenwich Village an area of Manhattan with a large gay community. One of few outwardly gay groups that were successful. Great dance number.
A word about where people in my Family came from, or lived in which is at least 30 different countries. Most today live in UK, USA, CANADA, AUSTRALIA, SOUTH AFRICA, FRANCE & ISRAEL. Historically most came from the PALE of SETTLEMENT, which today would include RUSSIA, POLAND, LITHUANIA, LATVIA, BELARUS, ROMANIA, & MOLDOVA.
Plus GERMANY, AUSTRIA, CZECHOSLOVAKIA, HUNGARY, JERSEY, GUERNSEY, IRELAND, SPAIN, PORTUGAL, MONACO, BULGARIA, LEBANON, SYRIA, ALGERIA, MOROCCO, EGYPT & HONG KONG.
